House Groups

We currently have two home groups, imaginatively named Wednesday and Thursday Group! Numbers attending range from approximately seven to twelve with a wide age range.

Sometimes the groups follow a common study series but they always provide an opportunity to ask questions about the Christian pathway, the Bible or what the preacher said last Sunday. The small numbers in each group enable a closeness of fellowship to develop and make it easier to share problems. Social events are arranged from time to time. All the groups spend time in prayer and recognise its enormous value.

The Wednesday group meets from 8 pm at Graham & Lynda’s house and is led by Graham. It’s the largest group and is good for the night owls, with thought provoking study and discussion extending a little later than in the other groups. There’s a second round of cuppas though to keep you going!

The Thursday group meets at 7 o’clock at Mike & Anne’s house and is led by Mike. This group contains our more distinguished members, with a considered and experienced approach to discussion and prayer. It also finishes by 9pm, so is good for those who prefer an early night!
