Coffee Stop

New Life Church is open for Coffee Stop every Tuesday from 10am -12noon and then 2pm – 4pm. It’s a great place to come and meet with your friends for a chat whilst enjoying a nice mug of coffee or tea, or just pop in on your own – there’s always a friendly face around. There’s also that tempting piece of cake, often home-made, or biscuits too.

On a pleasant day we sit outside and enjoy the weather, giving anyone who passes by a chance to be invited to join us, whether they are out shopping or walking the dog. On slightly cooler days come in to the hall and enjoy a warm welcome – come and chat or read the paper.

The Coffee Stop was started a few years ago after the church studied ‘40 Days of Community’ by Rick Warren, and church members were challenged to develop a community project. After several months of praying and planning the Well Coffee Stop was born out of a desire and vision to serve this community and give folk somewhere to meet a friend or make new friends in a relaxed setting – everybody is welcome. Please do not worry about money, we are here to meet your needs (a basket for donations is available for those who feel they want to give).

Twice a month we have a visit from PC Martin Bowman, who is based at Hart Neighbourhood Centre and is responsible for policing the areas of Crondall, Greywell and Eversley. PC Bowman comes along to meet the local residents, hear any problems they may have and share information. See the notice in the church window for dates and times of his visits.
