Title: Noah’s Ark

We are a group of seven ladies that first met together in September 2003, to consider making a set of four banners for Christmas.

As we had such a good time of fun and fellowship, we decided to continue to meet every Monday evening to design and make banners for every Christian event throughout the year.

We have of course co-opted husbands in helping with designs and erecting supports for the banners.

Following the Christmas designs we made two for the following Easter, depicting the crucifixion and the resurrection. Since then the list has grown in the following way:-

Two for Pentecost
Two for Harvest
Two for Remembrance Sunday
One for Baptisms
Eight for fruits of the Spirit
Seven for creation
Eight for the armour of God
Seven for some of the names of Jesus
Eight for the “I am”s.

Our two biggest challenges, and subsequently our favourites, are two banners depicting Noah’s Ark and the Christmas Story, these are both 8 ft by 6 ft.
